United Nations anticorruption day lecture at Dadabhoy Institute
United Nations’ (UN) International Anti-Corruption Day was observed on the 9th of December, 2009, Wednesday, across the globe including Pakistan with the aims of raising public’s awareness against corruption and the steps that the public can take to counter this evil.
The main program was organized by TI-P at the Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education, Karachi in the form of a lecture.
The program was chaired by renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist Mr. Abdullah Dadabhoy and the speaker for the lecture was Mr. H. N. Akhtar, a retired federal secretary as well as a well known literary figure. The program was also attended by Karachi’s well known industrialist, Engineer M. A. Jabbar.
Programs to mark the United Nations’ (UN) International Anti-Corruption Day were also observed in:

- Faisalabad
- Lahore
- Hala
- Badin
- Gujrat (to be held on the 11th of December 2009)
